Unique is the word to describe this new eclectic project, born from the two different identities of Federico Nathan and Jacopo Mezzanotti. Violin, guitar and a electronics, are the ingredients of this new music experience, that creates from scratch a new recipe using the musicians common background: classical music, jazz, folk, and modern rock/pop.
The improvisation element is the leitmotif that connects the entire show, giving the opportunity to exhibit the virtuosity of these top players.
Furthermore the composition ability of both musicians, presents a performance that surprise the audience constantly. Without giving the time to understand what happen, the music already changed around you, giving no choice but surrendering to this new unique musical experience.
Jacopo Mezzanotti is an Italian guitarist, composer and producer. He is working as Guitar Teacher at L'aula de Jazz (Valencia) and as Teacher Assistant at Berklee College of Music Online Guitar Course (MOOC). His music cover a wide range of stiles, starting from the roots of the jazz tradition, through the romantic and neoclassical music compositions, he exhibits the strong influences of the modern pop/rock. Improvisation is the common element that connects his broad range of stiles, being able to express his personality in different music situations.
He composed, produced, and performed as leader, his two concerts for symphony jazz orchestra, premiered in 2015 and 2016 in Valencia.
He has been awarded with the third price at the "Jimmy Woode International Jazz Award 2013 " with his project: "Joe Midnights Space Trio”.

The violinist Federico Nathan (Montevideo, 1986) is one of the greatest Uruguayan musicians of our time. He performs as a soloist in ensembles and orchestras around the world. Being a versatile musician, he participates in projects of a wide range of musical genres and leads his own project, being the latter the meeting point of his fervent creative curiosity.
In his music Federico Nathan proposes a journey through different sound universes, erasing the barrier between classical music and popular music by creating a free of prejudices and profoundly imaginative music.
Elements of rock, jazz, classical music as well as of Uruguayan music converge in his music, while the balance of the planned and the unplanned tips from one moment to the next. He currently holds the position of leader in the Second Violins group in the two times Grammy awarded Metropole Orchestra in Holland. With this Orchestra he has performed along with artists as Joshua Redman, Snarky Puppy, Gregory Porter, Esperanza Spalding, Quincy Jones and Gonzalo Rubalcaba , among others.
