Antón Cortés

Born in Palma de Mallorca, he started playing the piano when his mother found a working keyboard in the trash in 2016 and brought it home to him and his siblings as a toy.

Antón Cortés, born in 2007 originally from Palma de Mallorca, is a very young Mallorcan and gypsy musician. At the age of 10, he was the winner of the "Mallorca Talent" contest and the "revelation artist" award at the Infest International Film Festival" (2019). In 2020 he was a gold pass and semifinalist of "Got Talent Spain" and a finalist of the International Cante de las Minas in 2021. Despite his young age, he has shared the stage with artists of the stature of Pitingo, Duquende or Jorge Pardo. Antón Cortés is undoubtedly revolutionizing flamenco on Spanish soil with his unique and self-taught way of playing the piano, an exclusive, innovative and spontaneous method with which he manages to convey all the expressiveness and sensitivity of this art.
